A Simple Technique to Release Anxiety

It wouldn’t be surprising if you are feeling anxiety as we go through the big pause known as the COVID-19 outbreak. All of our familiar routines and daily security have been taken away. We have no control of the situation and life may feel like it might never return to normal again.
If we are prone to anxiety, then we know that the more we dwell on thoughts of catastrophe, the more of those thoughts will show up in our mind, causing a vicious circle. But there is a proven and very accessible technique that I share with you this week that can help to break that cycle.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), which is commonly referred to as tapping, is a proven technique to reduce stress and anxiety in the moment. It involves only a few moments of your day to tap on certain meridian points and then acknowledge and release the emotion you are feeling. Sounds easy, right? Well that’s because it is. In this vlog below, I take you through a simple routine to help you release the anxiety and other emotions that COVID-19 might be bringing up for you.
